Arjun Rampal, Malaika Arora, Esha Gupta and other Bollywood celebs mourn the demise of fashion designer Wendell Rodricks

Ace fashion designer Wendell Rodricks who was also known as the green crusader of his hometown, Goa, has passed away. He was 59. According to the reports, Wendell suffered a heart attack while he was at his home in Colvale, Goa.
Soon, his fans took to social media to mourn his sudden demise. Bollywood celebs like Arjun Rampal, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anushka Sharma, Diana Penty, Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora, Esha Gupta, Walushcha D'Souza, Amrita Arora, Ashley Rebello, Sophie Choudry and more expressed their grief on their respective accounts.
Arjun wrote, "his is such sad sad news, a beautiful human and such a talented designer, the fashion industry and the world has lost today. It was such joy whenever I met him. His smile always made me smile...you will be missed Wendell. #ripwendellrodricks".

He had also campaigned relentlessly over the past months to save some ancient mango trees from being cut down to widen a highway. Wendell was also working on his life’s dream project, the Moda Goa Museum, which is to tell the story of Goa’s history through its apparel, costumes, jewellery and other artefacts.
