Aryan Khan drugs controversy: Shah Rukh Khan gets support from Salman Khan, Pooja Bhatt, Hansal Mehta, and others

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3 after the officials seized drugs at a cruise party which the star kid was attending. Seven others were arrested with Aryan from the luxury ship. Defending Aryan, his lawyer, senior advocate Satish Manshinde had argued in court, “No incriminating material has been recovered from him (Aryan). There is no possession or evidence of consumption”. Amid this controversy, SRK has received support from several Bollywood celebrities.

Salman Khan paid a late-night visit to Shah Rukh Khan

Soon after Aryan Khan was sent to NCB custody, his father Shah Rukh Khan returned home from the court. Quick to visit him was close friend and neighbour from Bandra, Salman Khan. Post 10 pm, Salman Khan was seen arriving at Mannat and after what looked like a quick chat with his superstar buddy, the ‘Tubelight’ actor left.

Suniel Shetty: Give the kid a breather

Suniel was one of the first actors from Bollywood to stand in support of Shah Rukh and Aryan. Speaking at a press conference, without divulging names, the actor said, “All I would say is that wherever there is a raid, several people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this kid must have done it. But the proceedings are on, give that kid a chance to breathe. Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinizes everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child an opportunity. Let the truth come out”.

Hansal Mehta: It is painful for a parent to deal with a child getting into trouble

In a strongly-worded social media post, Hansal extended support to SRK and shared, “It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgments before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you @srk."

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi: Nothing harder for a parent than seeing their child in distress

Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star Suchitra Krishnamoorthi had expressed that Bollywood celebrities are easy targets and shared on Twitter, “Nothing harder for a parent than seeing their child in distress. Prayers to all. For all those targetting #Bollywood remember all the #NCB raids on filmstars? Yes, nothing was found and nothing was proved. #Bollywood gawking is a tamasha. It's the price of fame.”

Nafisa Ali Sodhi: Aryan Khan needs to be helped, not destroyed

Veteran actress Nafisa Sodhi Ali had also shared a post on Instagram, extending support to Aryan, stating that the star kid needs help. She had shared, “Aryan, a young man who I pray for, needs to be helped not destroyed and not be made an example of. #drugskill.” Meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk Not that you need it. But I do. This too, shall pass.”

Aryan is a great scientist, compassionate social worker and a kind human being , right ? WRONG!Hes a born rich, spoilt brat who knows he can get away with almost anything. Throw him in a correctional facility, put him on drug rehabilitation program and extract all information from him. All said, I want this kid to reform into a respectable citizen
