’ today, spoke exclusively to ETimes to reveal what went into the making of his song.
“It was a surprising experience as
Jaani, B Praak, and I were in a studio where I had first heard this song. It was actually
B Praak who told me that you can sing this!” reveals the singer, adding, "Later, when I recorded the song, I got goosebumps. Honestly, it took only two takes and 25 minutes for me to record the beautiful song as I had already practised hard for it”.
Talking about working with B Praak, Ranvir raves, “B Praak is like brother and mentor for me. 'Patthar Wargi' is my second collaboration with him. It's always special to sing for a person like him.”
‘Patthar Wargi’ features
Hina Khan and
Tanmay Ssingh in the lead while the song has been composed by B Praak and crooned by Ranvir. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Jaani and the already-released teaser has garnered a good buzz.
