Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and
Rajkummar Rao dropped online after a special trailer launch event held in Mumbai. The romantic comedy helmed by Filmfare award-winning director
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari
and written by her husband, Nitesh Tiwari, is set up in Bollywood's favourite city of
Bareilly
.

Nitesh, who adapted the book into the script with co-writer Shreyas Jain, has changed the setting of the story from France to Uttar Pradesh. The two-and-a-half minute trailer sees the trio taking us on a joyful ride with quirky UP one-liners and a storyline that will leave you intrigued.
Ayushmaan, who was present at the trailer launch, was all praises for the script of the film. “I always looked forward to a film like this as Nitesh Tiwari could be the only one who could write such a script.” The interestingly put trailer looks like a mixed bag of quirks, sarcasm, wit and glamour.
'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is set to release on August 18.
