We've had plenty of Vampires on-screen, but not as many Werewolves. That's where Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black comes in. The hunk with his perfectly sculpted eight-pack abs left the Twilight fandom rooting hard for Team Jacob, even though we knew for sure he did not stand a chance with Bella Swan in her supernatural love story with Edward Cullen. It's been a decade since we saw him turn into a furry beast, but we can say we remember it all like it were yesterday.

Before Jason Momoa could play the beastly and barbaric Khal Drogo, very few will remember that he starred as Connor Slaughter, a member of a close-knit wolf pack hidden from modern society. The 2014 horror movie saw the hunk underneath a lot of werewolf makeup but there were no complains from his lady fans.

Where there's a Vampire on the loose, rest assured there's a Werewolf lurking around in the woods. 'Underworld' that horror-action movie starring Kate Beckingsale in the lead was one of the first big-screen films to pit the mythical creatures against each other in what went on to be a hugely successful franchise. If watching Vampires and Lycans (Werewolves) is too mundane, wait till a hybrid gets added to the mix.

Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer's 1994 film 'Wolf' also makes for a great watch. While the other Werewolf movies see the men going through a physical transformation, this one talks about personality changes Nicholson's character goes through as he struggles with lycanthropy. While on one hand, he assumes a demeanour of dominance, on the other, he is burdened by the curse of the werewolf that could just see him turn into a killer.

Watch the classic An 'American Werewolf in London' has to make it to your list, simply because it is an absolute classic and is often cited as one of the best werewolf movies ever made. Written and directed by John Landis, this one takes you back to the origins of the werewolf genre. The horror-comedy focuses on two American backpackers who have the misfortune of encountering a werewolf during their travels. The impressive gnarly scenes of the CGI werewolves even won the film an Oscar for the best visual effects.
