Chum Darang attended the KASHISH International Queer Film Festival in Mumbai on Thursday. For the occasion of Badhaai Do's special screening, the actress opted for a loose white shirt teamed with a red skirt. She was all smiles as she posed for the pictures as well. Now, while talking to

, Chum talked about her experience of working with
Rajkummar Rao and
Bhumi Pednekar. She also sent out a message to the LGBTQ community.

Your film 'Badhaai Do'
is being screened at the KASHISH International Queer Film Festival, what do you think about that?I take pride in it and the experience was out of the world. I have obviously watched the film before, but I think this was the best screening.
How challenging was it to play the role of Rimjhim?It was not challenging for me at all. I didn't feel that anything was out of the book for me.
What other films you have watched that talk about the LGBTQ community?I have watched
Ayushmann Khurrana's movie 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' and
Sonam Kapoor's 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'.
How would you describe the experience of working with Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao?It was amazing. They are talented actors but on top of that, they are very good human beings. I have learned a lot from them. Especially, how to be grounded.
What message would you want to give to the LGBT community?For members of the community, I'd say, just be yourself. Be proud of who you are, no need to be scared and please continue to do your thing. For the people out there, I think it's high time, we should just let things be. And for the family members of LGBTQ community members, please support. Because at the end of the day, we are all human beings.
