Chunky Panday hilariously recreates his iconic 'Aakhri Pasta' moment with NYPD - watch video

Soon after attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding celebration in Mumbai, Chunky Panday took off to New York for his professional commitments. The popular actor has now shared a heartwarming video with NYPD officers. In the selvie video, Chunky can be seen laughing while saying, "Mama mia, aakhri pasta on New York ka Raasta, Thank you brother." Chunky's iconic role of Aakhri Pasta from the hit Housefull franchise has become a staple of his comedic repertoire.
Panday captioned the post as "New Yorks Finest he NYPD✨️#aakhripasta." Fans reacted to this video by commenting, "So sweet ya" and "I'm joking������❤️❤️," highlighting their delight and amusement at the interaction.
Panday's iconic role of Aakhri Pasta in the Housefull series has become a hallmark of his comedic talent. While describing the origin of the character, Chunky had told Bollywood Hungama, “The name came from Akhree Raasta (1986), Amitji’s (Amitabh Bachchan) film, and the character of Marconi from the film ‘The Great Gambler’ that was played by Sujit Kumarji, so we took him as an inspiration, his clothes, that moustache, and created Aakhri Pasta. Somewhere, Aakhri Pasta was Sajid Khan’s alter ego. What Sajid couldn’t do in real life, he would make Aakhri Pasta do on screen."
Chunky Panday was recently seen in the OTT series Industry, which also featured Gagan Arora, Ankita Goraya, and Asha Negi. Chunky Panday will soon return to entertain with his iconic character in Housefull 5, which also features Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.The film is scheduled for release on June 6, 2025.
