Chunky Panday reveals his fashion choices; buys from the women’s section as daughter Ananya steals his shirts

Chunky Panday is widely recognized for his comedic characters, which he often plays in an exaggerated manner that his fans enjoy. In a recent interview, he disclosed that his unconventional fashion choices are influenced by shopping in the women's section. He humorously recalled that his mother dressed him as a girl during his childhood, a practice that has left a lasting impact on his style.

In a conversation with Mashable India, Chunky shared that his parents were preparing for a daughter when he was born. He mentioned that they really wanted a girl and weren’t ready for a son. Consequently, his mother bought clothes for a girl, resulting in baby pictures of him in frocks, complete with a bindi and small earrings, looking like a sweet girl. Chunky humorously noted that after two years, he became a boy.

The actor shared that the first four years of a person's life are impressionable, which is when he developed a love for girls' clothes. This affinity has persisted, as he continues to shop from the women’s section. He humorously noted that when he asks for the price of an item, shopkeepers often assume he is buying it for someone else, saying, “Yeh ladies ka hai.” Chunky feels that his art and energy embody a feminine force, reflecting his unique style choices.

Panday revealed that his daughter Ananya enjoys raiding his closet and borrowing some of his clothes. He humorously noted that she often doesn't return the items and instead turns them into her nightwear. To navigate this, he now sends her screenshots of potential purchases, using her reactions to decide whether to buy them.
