Read On

Over the last few weeks, Sunny Leone and husband

Daniel

, have been home with their kids, Nisha,

Asher

and Noah. Apart from practicing social distancing measures and wearing masks, the couple has also been religiously consuming vitamin C to strengthen their immune system. “It does not take much to act responsibly. Not wearing a mask and gloves when stepping out of the house, not watching habits and not building your body’s immunity is putting your entire family at risk. My husband and I religiously follow the rules because we want to be there for our kids. I’ve even told neighbours that if there’s even one case here, the authorities will seal the building, and for the time being, it’s a good idea to not meet each other,” she says.

It’s known that Sunny has family spread across America and Canada. She also owns a gorgeous home that she built with her husband in

Los Angeles

. The actress has been keeping tabs on family and her home. Talking about it, Sunny says, “We had listed it with a rental company because we’re usually travelling and are in India for work. It’s been over a year and we haven’t travelled there because of work. Things are being well looked after by our property manager. someone who stayed in before the lockdown is enjoying the beautiful house that my husband and I built. As for family, the situation abroad is not any better than ours. My family and friends, though bored out of their heads, are taking due precautions and that’s a relief.”

Back home in India, with just one nanny around for help, Sunny starts her day at 6 am by waking up her kids, taking them for a stroll within their complex compound, setting up a large jacuzzi for them to swim and play in the house, putting them to sleep in the afternoons and keeping them engaged all day long. “Children can get very difficult to handle. You have to find ways to channelise their energy. Daniel and I do everything we can to just ensure they’re busy and happy,” says Sunny.
