Darsheel Safary boards International Indo-U.S drama with Mohit Raina and Priyamani; Says ‘This story moved me deeply'
Darsheel Safary says the story moved him
Speaking about his involvement in the project, Darsheel Safary told IANS that the script had a strong emotional impact on him, "This story moved me deeply. It speaks about courage, vulnerability, and choices that define who we become.” The actor also expressed gratitude for being part of a film that goes beyond geographical boundaries and cultural differences. He said, “I’m grateful to be part of a film that transcends geography and speaks to universal emotions.”
Darsheel’s role said to be the emotional core
Reports say that Darsheel Safary will play a crucial role in the narrative and his character reportedly acts as the emotional bridge connecting the Indian and international settings in the film.
Indo-U.S co-production with global ambitions
The project is mounted as a global co-production and is designed as a premium international release which is expected to reach audiences worldwide.
Shooting across India and the United States
The yet-to-be-titled film is currently in advanced pre-production and principal photography is scheduled to begin later this year. Filming will take place across multiple locations in the United States and India with schedule that includes shoots in New York and New Jersey, along with Indian locations such as Delhi and Jammu-Kashmir. For Darsheel Safary, the actor first gained widespread recognition with Taare Zameen Par, the 2007 film starring and directed by Aamir Khan.
He later appeared in films such as 'Zokkomon' and 'Bumm Bumm Bole' but majority of those films failed to shine as much as his debut movie.
