David Dhawan’s son Rohit signs up with Sajid Nadiadwala for his next

David Dhawan’s older son Rohit, made his debut as a director with Desi Boyz back in 2011, which starred Akshay Kumar and John Abraham in the lead.The film didn’t set cash registers ringing at the box office. He then teamed up with Sajid Nadiadwala for his next, which was Dishoom, it starred his baby brother Varun Dhawan and John Abraham which was a moderate hit at the box office. He followed it up with Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada which was a remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The Hindi remake turned out to be a big dud at the box office.


Now according to a report by Pinkvilla, Rohit would be teaming up with Sajid Nadiadwala once again after Dishoom. The report stated that he will be working on a two hero project which is an out and out comedy, and scripting is already underway. Before this, Rohit was attached with the Indian remake of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo with Tiger Shroff in the lead and produced by Siddharth Anand. But that film is not happening anymore. Rohit has spent a considerable amount of time working on Rambo.


Sajid and David Dhawan have worked together in just 2 films Judwaa with Salman Khan, and Judwa 2 with Varun in the lead.
