Decoding bridal look of Alekha Advani: Red velvet lehenga, butterfly kaleeras, button-work dupatta and sindoor

A month after exchanging their wedding vows in a Christian ceremony in Goa, Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani tied the knot once again in a traditional Hidnu wedding ceremony in Mumbai.

Apart from their family members and loved ones, who's who of Bollywood made their presence felt at the do. Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Suhana Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Ananya Panday and several others graced the lavish ceremony.

After exchanging vows surrounded by family and friends, Aadar and Alekha posed for the photographers. Alekha looked stunning in a rich red velvet lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, adorned with intricate golden zardozi work. She paired it with a sweetheart-neck blouse featuring delicate embroidery and a button-work dupatta elegantly draped over her head.

Alekha completed her bridal look with a statement choker, a layered necklace, matching earrings, and a maangteeka. She chose nude-toned makeup with contoured cheeks and brown lipstick. What stood out was her blend of tradition and modernity—her chooda paired beautifully with kaleeras featuring butterfly details and star trinkets. She also proudly flaunted her sindoor.



Aadar and Alekha made their relationship Instagram official in November 2023. It was in September 2024 that Aadar proposed to her during their vacay in the Maldives. They had their Roka ceremony in November last year. Aadar was earlier in a relationship with actress Tara Sutaria, but they reportedly broke up in January 2023.



Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani have known each other for 20 years. During their pre-wedding celebration in Goa, Aadar recalled meeting Alekha, and said, “From the moment I met you 20 years ago, I knew in my heart that you were really special. I didn’t understand it back then but standing here with you today in front of all our family and friends, it all makes perfect sense. You’re the first girl I ever spoke to, my first crush in life, my best friend for last 20 years, and now my soon-to-be wife."
