'Ghulam' is one of
Aamir Khan's most memorable films. Even the songs have been quite popular and Aamir's chemistry with
Rani Mukerji continues to be loved till date. The film also starred
Deepak Tijori. There was a train stunt in the film and in the movie, it's shown that Deepak falls on the track and freezes while Aamir pulls him and saves his life.
In a recent interview, Deepak recalled what happened during this scene and said that they assumed the train driver would apply the breaks on time but he told them that he doesn't have such breaks.
He also told Aamir and Deepak that they shouldn't assume that he will apply brakes and the train will stop. Hence, he asked them to keep a distance so that no accident occurs. Aamir and Deepak looked at each other in fear on hearing this and they rehearsed the scene a couple of times to understand that how much time does the train take to cover a distance before they pulled off the scene so well.
Deepak and Aamir have also worked together in the cult 1992 film 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' where they were pitted against each other. Meanwhile, Deepak is set to direct a thriller now, called Tippsy. He'll be seen on screen again in a film titled 'Ittar'. It stars
Rituparna Sengupta alongside Tijori.
