After spending a couple of days resting in hospital, reports now state that the actress is set to be discharged with her baby girl. Buzz is that doting dad Ranveer Singh has made special preparations to give his wife and their baby girl a grand welcome home.
According to a recent report by Zee News, Deepika is set to be discharged from the hospital. The source from the portal confirms that both the new mother and her baby are in good health and will be heading home. Ranveer has reportedly organized a special welcome for his precious girls, ensuring a warm and memorable return for Deepika and their newborn daughter.
The portal also reported that the couple will be following a no-photo policy for their baby, as expected.
The couple shared the official announcement about their daughter's birth in a special Instagram post. The image stated, “Welcome Baby Girl!” and revealed the birth date as “8.9.2024.” The text was framed within a golden bow.
Soon after the couple made the announcement, they were flooded with warm wishes from many celebrities. Bollywood stars like Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao all congratulated the couple. Hollywood actor Will Smith also sent his best wishes.
Professionally, Ranveer and Deepika are set to appear in the upcoming action film 'Singham Again.' This movie will introduce Deepika to Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe as she takes on the role of Shakti Shetty, also known as Lady Singham. Ranveer will reprise his character from Simmba. The film’s impressive cast also includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Singham Again is scheduled for release during Diwali 2024. Apart from this, Ranveer also has Don 3 in the pipeline.
