Dhanashree Verma cheekily says she’s manifesting 'love' after divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal; Farah Khan calls it ‘brave’

Farah Khan visited dancer and actor Dhanashree Verma house for her latest vlog, and what started as a cheerful home tour soon turned into a heartfelt chat. The filmmaker, known for her fun cooking vlogs with her cook Dilip, looked surprised when Dhanashree spoke about manifesting love again after her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.

Farah Khan tours Dhanashree Verma’s Mumbai home

Farah began by giving a home tour of Dhanashree’s Mumbai house. The place had a stylish bar area and an artistic corner in the drawing room. A hallway leading to the rooms was lined with several paintings.

Dhanashree revealed that the paintings were made by her grandmother while suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Farah admired them and was especially impressed by the personal touch they brought to the home.

Dhanashree manifesting love?

One painting in particular caught Farah’s attention. It showed two birds sitting together on a tree branch. Looking at it, Farah said, "This is my favourite."

Taking the moment playfully, Dhanashree explained, "love birds. I am manifesting (and stuck out her tounge)."

Her playful remark left Farah wide-eyed in mock surprise. Without missing a beat, she teased back, "Firse (again)? Very brave of you," before pulling Dhanashree in for a side hug. The light banter had both of them giggling.

Dhanashree Verma’s thoughts on finding love

Earlier, while speaking with ETimes, Dhanashree had shared her thoughts about love and how it cannot be planned.

She had said, “Pyaar ki baat karein, toh you can’t plan these things. Aap ye decide nahi kar sakte ke main aaj ya ek saal baad pyaar mein padhungi (When it comes to love, you can’t plan these things. You can’t decide that today or a year later you will fall in love.) Love is a different entity altogether. What matters most to me is mera focus aur main apne life mein aage kya dekh rahi hoon.”

Dhanashree Verma focuses on career and growth

She also explained how her focus is currently on work and growth, but she remains open to what life may bring. She added, “Right now, it’s all about work, growth, and apne aap ko present karna in the best way possible. Aur agar naseeb mein achha likha hai, then why not—who doesn’t want love in life? But for now, I’m focusing on my career and giving it my all.”

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal’s relationship

Dhanashree and Chahal tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate wedding ceremony in Gurgaon. Reports later suggested that the two separated in 2022. Their divorce was finalised in March 2025. Since the split, Chahal has been linked to RJ Mahvash, mainly because of their social media posts and public outings. However, both have always maintained that they are only friends.
