Bobby Deol clarifies that his father, Dharmendra, lives with his mother


In an interview with ABP Live, Bobby Deol was asked about veteran star Dharmendra's emotional social media posts. Talking about the same, he shared, "My mom is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic."

Bobby further shared that his parents love being at the farmhouse. He added that they are old, and hence, being at a farmhouse is relaxing for them. The actor said, "The weather is nice, the food is nice. Papa has made a paradise out there."

In the same interview, Bobby Deol further shared that his father has always been an expressive person and is not afraid to share his feelings publicly. He said, "Papa is very emotional. He’s very expressive. Sometimes he goes overboard." The younger son of Dharmendra stated that he often asks his father why he wrote certain things or said something on social media. Recalling his father's answer, Bobby said, "He tells me that he was just following his heart."

During the interview, Bobby Deol stated that people don't get to hear much about his mother, Prakash Kaur, because no one would ask anything about her. He said, "She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life. She’s had a very tough journey."

The 'Animal' actor stated that his mother came from a small village and had to adjust to the life of being a superstar's wife in a big city. He said, "It wasn’t easy." Bobby Deol stated that just as his wife is responsible for his success, his mother can be credited for his father becoming a big star.

Bobby Deol will feature as the main antagonist in 'Alpha', starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film has been scheduled to hit cinemas in December this year.
