Rakesh Bedi plays an important role in Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar' film franchise. The veteran actor is seen as Pakistani Awami Party leader Jameel Jamali in the movie. He recalled, "Ranveer said that if the film makes Rs 1,000 crore at the box office, then Rs 500 crore will be because of Rakesh ji." The actor shared that he tried to downplay Ranveer's remark; however, Singh expressed that he meant every word he said. Rakesh Bedi further shared, "What more can a character actor ask for? The director even said he would cry on my last day of shooting—it created an amazing atmosphere throughout the film." The Aditya Dhar directorial has raked in over Rs 44 crore through its paid previews on Thursday, March 18. The film has been released in theaters today, and as of now, it has earned Rs 32 crore at the box office on Day 1, according to the Sacnilk report. It goes without saying that the espionage thriller will break several box office records daily.
