Farah Khan visited Rakesh Bedi's home to shoot her new YouTube vlog. During their chat, the actor openly shared his feelings. “I am also very angry with you because you never took me in any of your films,” Rakesh told Farah.
Farah responded by asking for examples. She mentioned the role played by Satish Shah in 'Main Hoon Na'. Farah asked, "Tell me which role suited you in my films. Rakesh kept the mood light and pointed out common industry excuses.

Rakesh did not accept the explanation easily. He replied in a humorous tone. "Two dialogues are very common in the industry. First is which role would be suitable for me and the second is how I will definitely be cast in the next picture!’"


Farah joined in the fun and repeated the line about casting him in her next project. The two shared laughs and ended the moment warmly. Rakesh added that he could never stay angry with her.

Rakesh Bedi's daughter Ritika expressed her emotions after watching the film. "I remember finding him at the screening and hugging and crying. Because, as a daughter, it was like a validation. I am extremely proud," she said.

His wife also spoke about the timing of this recognition. "I am happy this success came to him now because my girls could see what fame looks like."

Director Kunal Kohli recently highlighted the film's approach to characters. He spoke to Faridoon Shahryar about the treatment given to every role. “If you look at the first part of Dhurandhar, every character has been treated like a superstar. Of course, in Part 2 it’s Ranveer Singh all the way, but the fact that someone like Rakesh Bedi has been presented with such belief is remarkable. It’s sad that for so many years he didn’t get his due, but it’s wonderful that he finally has he’s become an overnight sensation, an overnight star. The beauty is he was always there, always doing wonderful work, but his breakthrough has happened now, and he truly deserves it.”
