Ever since the pandemic struck and a lockdown was imposed, Bollywood celebs had to toss their choc-a-bloc date diary aside and wait for shoots to resume. However, while many chose this time to sit back, relax, and binge-watch content, some picked up hobbies to make the most of the downtime. In the bargain, they also developed a skill or two, and are now thanking themselves for taking the initiative to use their time wisely. Take a look:

he 'Fukrey' actor has, on several occasions, spoken about his love for horses and how he used to love horse-riding as a child. The actor is currently taking two classes a week while adhering to all Covid-19 rules, to revisit the hobby that brings him immense joy.

During an Instagram AMA session last year, Ranveer Singh revealed that he and his wife Deepika had been taking piano lessons together during the lockdown. During the same session, the actor also revealed that his wife had also made him a fabulous dessert.

Vicky Kaushal has taken up a new skill that is not only going to be useful for his next film but is also one that has intrigued him for a very long time. As he preps for his next ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, the actor is learning archery. He had also taken horse riding lessons for the same project.

Fatima Sana Shaikh is a bundle of surprises and her Instagram feed is replete with examples of how she keeps reinventing herself. In one of her latest videos, the actress was seen performing some pretty cool new skating tricks that she picked up from YouTube.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan started the year by learning a new skill too. The actor has been honing the skill of flying a drone fitted with a camera. He posted a clip of himself and his friends lying on the ground while the drone recorded an incredible video from above them.

Last year, Dia Mirza took up one of the oldest and most fascinating forms of martial arts, Kalaripayattu, that hails from Kerala and requires achieving mind and body coordination. The actress confessed that it was helping her pave a path of self-discovery.
