Ayushmann Khurrana has looked back at his early fame after winning 'MTV Roadies' and admitted that he once behaved like a “deep red flag” in his relationship with Tahira Kashyap. The actor said he broke up with Tahira when he was 20 because he thought he needed to focus on himself after his reality show win. Years later, Ayushmann laughed at the phase and said he now sees himself as a “green flag husband.”

Speaking on Raunaq Rajani’s YouTube channel during the promotions of 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,' Ayushmann appeared with Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan. The actor spoke about relationships, early success, and how winning 'MTV Roadies' changed the way he saw himself.
“I have gone through a similar situation. I was 20 at that time. I said the same things to my girlfriend, who is now my wife. She started laughing and asked me, ‘What has happened to you?’ I had just won Roadies, but in my head, I was the most popular guy in Chandigarh,” he said.
Ayushmann added, “I broke up with her for a while to focus on myself. I was like, ‘I don’t have time for relationships. I have to invest time in myself.’”
The breakup did not last long. Six months later, Ayushmann realized his mistake and got back together with Tahira. The couple later married when he was 24.

Ayushmann joked about how men change with age. “Men have this deep tendency of starting off as a huge red flag and then suddenly becoming a green flag by the time they are in their mid-30s. I think it’s a journey we all take. I think I am a green flag now,” he said.
The actor also connected his real life to 'Vicky Donor.' By the time he signed the film, he was already a father of two. “Even before starting Vicky Donor, I was already a father. I took method acting a bit too seriously,” he joked.
He also revealed that he had donated sperm during a 'Roadies' task. “I have donated sperm for real. It was part of a Roadies task. They used to check our sperm count. I was just 20 then. Nothing was shown on screen, only the results were revealed. And I won the task,” he said.
Sara Ali Khan looked shocked, while Rakul Preet Singh asked, “You donated sperm, and then you did Vicky Donor?”
Ayushmann will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s 'Yeh Prem Mol Liya' with Sharvari. He also has Dharma Productions’ 'Udta Teer' with Sara Ali Khan.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
