In 'Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web', Kelkar plays Bada Chaudhary, a powerful smuggling kingpin. He recently spoke about the inspiration behind the character’s look and demeanour. He said, “My character is a fan of his. There’s a moment where he goes for a haircut, and Bachchan’s photograph is placed in front of him, prompting that particular hairstyle. That swag is just a small part of the larger story,” revealing how the ‘Angry Young Man’ era influenced the narrative.He also opened up about the psychological weight of the role, adding, “It forced me to explore a darker psychology, and I’m glad I took that risk,” proving he continues to push creative boundaries.
