Following which, he was sent to a boarding school in Jammu, with the hope that separation from his troublesome behaviour would reduce his growing passion for acting and singing, sparked by his fascination with films.

During his time at the boarding school, Bakshi cleverly took advantage of an opportunity to join the boxing program, enticed by the daily glass of milk given to boxers. Despite the strict training regimen enforced by the sports instructors, Bakshi skillfully avoided their scrutiny by simply putting on boxing gloves, ensuring he received his sustenance.

However, luck took a turn as Bakshi's deception was uncovered over time. Singled out for personalized coaching by a vigilant teacher, he faced a harsh consequence a beating that deprived him of the coveted glass of milk.
