The Battle of Bhima Koregaon

' directed by Ramesh Thete. The pretty actress opens up about her role in the film. In the film, Digangana will be seen playing a warrior woman from the 1800s, who also plays actor Arjun Rampal’s love interest too. Talking about her role, she says “Well, first of director Ramesh Thete has ensured that the film brings to light all the issues in society that still exist in today’s time. So the intent and the cause behind the film is beautiful! I am paired opposite Arjun Rampal and my character is extremely strong-headed and makes her own decisions. This was not normal back in the day as women were usually asked to stay at home and take care of the household chores" shares Digangana.

She further adds, “So my character in the film is someone who did step out of her comfort zone and stood up for society, and managed to have herself shoulder to shoulder with her partner. I also know that Bhima is a passion project for Ramesh Thete and he has put in a lot of dedication and effort into this film. Through this film, he aims to bring about equality in society, and I think it’s beautiful to be a part of a film like this"
