Dilip Kumar's last film was 'Qila' and it was released in 1998. The legend, who left the world of living this morning, was 75 then, but still energetic. "He was the life of the film, he mixed with the youngsters readily and easily," says Umesh Mehra who directed it.

Mehra goes on to add, "I consider myself lucky to have directed such a fantastic actor, who was simply incomparable. He was definitely not given any time of leaving the set, but as the film progressed, he started doing late nights. He thoroughly enjoyed himself while working on my movie".
