Diljit Dosanjh returned to 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and did so on a groovy note.
The star, who is on his ‘Aura World Tour’, marked his comeback to the popular late-night show following his debut in 2024. The Punjabi icon, not only sat down to talk about his new album, but also danced and performed live at the show.
Diljit Dosanjh gets groovy with Jimmy Fallon
In a couple of videos and photos shared online by the show on social media, Dosanjh was seen teaching host Jimmy Fallon the traditional Bhangra dance. The two also had a little practise session backstage, where Diljit taught him some basic moves.
Dilit promotes 'AURA'
During the episode, Dosanjh spoke about his latest album ‘AURA’ and his world tour, and also delivered a live performance of his track ‘Morni’.
The episode aired today, at 11:35 PM ET (9:15 AM IST), with the interview and performance set to be uploaded on the show’s official YouTube channel following the broadcast.
About 'AURA'
‘AURA’ became Dosanjh’s fourth entry on the Canadian Albums chart. As per reports, he is now the first Punjabi artist to achieve four charting albums in Canada.
On the work front
Apart from his music, Diljit was recently seen in 'Border 2', where he portrayed Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the only Indian Air Force officer to be awarded the Param Vir Chakra. The film was a box office blockbuster and also starred Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. He will next be seen in the upcoming romantic drama 'Main Vaapas Aaunga', directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Sharvari, Vedant Raina and Naseeruddin Shah.
