Director Omung Kumar to ring in 25th wedding anniversary in Goa

Filmmaker Omung Kumar completed 25 years of his marriage to Vanita Kumar today and on the occasion of their anniversary, he’s headed to Goa to celebrate. Omung shared some of the incidents from the day of his marriage 25 years ago where he along with his wife Vanita did all the necessary arrangements themselves without any help. When technology had not yet seen a boom with no cell phones at the time, both, Omung and Vanita perfectly coordinated and managed all the guests at the venue in Madh, Mumbai. The venue did not have a dedicated seat for the bride and groom with only the dance floor where the guests met and greeted the wedding couple.One also hears that during his marriage, the ‘Mary Kom’ filmmaker broke the age-old superstitious belief of the groom sitting alone on the horse and sat on the horse with his wife Vanita.Omung recently designed and auctioned the 2019 calendar for an animal welfare organization to help gather funds towards a good cause.
