Expectations are running high for the upcoming film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' and now director Raaj Shaandilyaa had revealed that the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer is '97 percentage parivarik', indicating that even though the movie is inspired by the Hollywood adult comedy film 'Sex Tape ', the Bollywood flick can be watched with family.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed that the movie is set in the year 1997 and also around 2.5-3 percent of the movie has a song between Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, making it what the director terms to be as a 'Mahaparivarik' film. He also said that the movie has a bed scene, which Raaj considers as a 'good scene' indicating no adult content in it.
Talking about the reprised version of the song 'Na Na Na Na Re', the director said that getting the legendary Daler Mehendi was not a challenge. Raaj further said that since the movie is set in the year 1997, the reprised song perfectly fits the climax of the movie. Apart from giving the music rights, the iconic singer also agreed to make a special appearance in this comedy entertainer.
Talking about casting Shehnaaz Gill for the movie's item number, Raaj revealed that they were actually looking for someone who could look both sweet and glamorous, leading them to approach the actress who felt nervous due to the scale of the song. Director is confident that the item number will bring a sort of freshness for the audiences who are tired of seeing the same faces doing item numbers.
The movie also features Vijay Raaz, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Tiku Talsania among others in pivotal roles.
