Returning to work after personal loss
A few days before sharing the birthday post, Divya returned to a film set, marking her first shoot after the loss of her daughter Mihika, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 23. She documented the day by sharing glimpses of her routine and preparation, accompanied by a deeply moving note.
“I approached my first shoot day after you left with much trepidation. What if I couldn’t bear it? What if I dissolved into tears?” she wrote. The caption continued with quiet strength and resolve: “But I will soldier on. It’s the only way I know how to survive.” Her words struck a chord with many across the industry and beyond.
