'Dunki' actor Vikram Kochhar unveils the experience of visiting Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat; says, 'Everything gets scanned'
In an interview with Showsha, Vikram Kochhar revealed the starstruck experience of visiting Shah Rukh Khan's home. He recounted, "I was starstruck to see Shah Rukh Khan. He called us to his house, to Mannat, when we were going to meet him for the first time." Describing the grandeur of Mannat, Vikram detailed the security measures in place during their visit. He mentioned, "The house is amazing, and we went into the lift; there were a lot of security checks. There’s a huge hall, big entrance, lobby, then after that, it was just like an airport security kind of a thing… or the one you do when you enter inside a five-star hotel. Everything gets scanned."
Vikram Kochhar shared experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan, emphasizing the ease of collaboration due to the comfortable atmosphere created by the superstar. According to Vikram, unlike some other stars, SRK is open to suggestions and fosters open discussions on set. He highlighted instances where actors had different ideas during performances, and Shah Rukh Khan was willing to explore alternative approaches. Vikram expressed, "You never feel that you’re working with a star, it’s just like if he has a suggestion and you also have a suggestion, so he listens to your suggestion."
"Dunki," directed by Rajkumar Hirani, features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and others.
