​'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (1995)

The ultimate Bollywood romance. The movie follows Raj and Simran, who fall in love with each other while traveling through Europe. However, as Simran goes back to India, her family wants her to get married to someone else, and Raj then tries everything possible to make sure his love stays with him. Full of charm, iconic dialogues, and heartwarming moments, it’s a movie where love meets tradition. With the perfect blend of songs, visuals, and actions, the movie remains the gold standard for romance, even now.

​'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' (1998)

A timeless classic that gave us friendship, romance, and all the drama. The film revolved around Rahul and Anjali, two best friends, who are ready to do anything for each other. But when Rahul falls in love with Tina, Anjali is shattered and decides to leave. Least did she know their paths would cross again with a sweet twist. The movie captures the emotions of second chance love brilliantly and shows us that sometimes, what’s good for us is right in front of our eyes.

​'Devdas' (2002)

The classic tale of unfulfilled love. The story follows Dev, who spirals into self-destruction after losing his childhood love, Paro, due to societal pressures. Chandramukhi is a girl who silently loves Dev, despite his heart longing for someone else. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is an epic saga of love and loss. With rich visuals, poetic dialogues, and haunting music, the movie is a masterpiece. Devdas is known to be a tribute to the love that lingers and does not fade away, even after so many years of its release.

​Jab We Met (2007)

A classic strangers to lovers trope brought to life. When Aditya, a struggling and heartbroken businessman, meets Geet, an outspoken and bubbly girl on the train, he cannot deal with her constant talking. Despite the original friction, they both form an unexpected friendship. As they grow closer to each other and help out one another, friendship turns into love. This movie feels like a warm hug on a rainy day even after so many years, it remains an all-time favourite.
