Narendra Modi announcing that the lockdown will be extended till May 3, the film will miss its date with fans. Spilling the beans on ‘Coolie No 1’ getting postponed, producer
Jackky Bhagnani told ETimes, “At this point we are waiting for the lockdown to open and I hope that things get back to normal as soon as possible.
Till the time the lockdown doesn’t open, we cannot really comment on that. Yes, we would love to bring a smile on people’s faces through the film but we all jointly believe that security and health of everyone is more important than anything else. We are waiting for the lockdown to end to take a call.”
While the team of ‘Coolie No 1’ wrapped its shoot in February, Varun Dhawan had announced that he had finished the dubbing in March. “Our film is absolutely complete, nothing on that front. After the lockdown we will take a call how to move forward with it,” added Jackky.
When asked about what is keeping him busy during quarantine, Jackky said, “I am trying to figure what next we can do script wise and see some content. I also do some meditation and I am kill time like everyone else in the best way possible.”
