Exclusive! Taapsee Pannu: 'U-Turn' remake is not happening

Taapsee Pannu cleared the buzz about her appearance in the upcoming suspense thriller 'U-Turn'. The 2018 Tamil-Telugu thriller is all set to get a Hindi version and rumours were rife that Taapsee has been approached to play the lead.
However, ending al speculation the actress exclusively revealed to ETmes, “'U-Turn' remake is not happening, let me just clear that it is not happening.This year I have at least five-six films and one of my South films as well, which I do every year.” Directed by Pawan Kumar, 'U-Turn' featured Samantha Akkineni in the lead. The film spoke about the death of motorists who break traffic rules at a particular flyover in Chennai. 'U-Turn' was a massive hit in South.

Taapsee is riding high on the success of 'Saand Ki Aankh’, wherein she shared screen space with Bhumi Pednekar. The film received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. Up next, Taapsee will be seen in ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and ‘Thappad’.
