'Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni says when Rishi Kapoor passed away, the family 'never showed emotions to each other...'

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the daughter of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor has stayed away from the arclights, till now at least. She made her acting debut (kind of) in the season 3 of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3, representing the elite circle of Delhi, where she currently resides. While promoting the show to YouTuber Siddharth Kanan, Riddhima got candid and spoke about losing her father Rishi Kapoor to Cancer in 2020, saying that all of them processed their grief in their own way.


She said, "When my dad passed away we never showed emotions to each other. We used to go to separate rooms and cry like take it all out and then come and then just be normal or act normal, but it has got us really close."

Coming back to the show, for setting the stage for her in the very first episode of the series, the makers thought to reach out to her brother Ranbir Kapoor, who gave an unfiltered introduction of Riddhima. His video was played in the episode, which began with Ranbir first being confused about the right title, and then the season, wondering if it’s already the third installment. And right after that, he did what all siblings do - praised his sister, gave a fair warning to other cast members, and at the same time didn’t miss the chance to take a dig at sissy dearest.

“F***! Riddhima is doing a reality series. It’s not even dawned upon me. I don’t know, I think I had mixed feelings about it. All her life, she looked down upon movies.” Riddhima quickly in her defense denied the statement, but her mother Neetu Kapoor agreed with Ranbir. He further added, “What’s there to worry about? She is munphat, she has no filters. Riddhima is going to really mess it up.”

Neetu Kapoor on Kapil Sharma’s show also said that Riddhima takes after her father late actor Rishi Kapoor. She has no filter and doesn’t fear speaking her heart out, and thus, both Neetu and Ranbir had a long discussion regarding her debut. With the image that - ‘Kapoors are always getting into trouble’ and Riddhima’s fiery personality, they wondered what would come next.


Jokes apart, the 'Animal' star then gave a fair warning to the OG and new wives to ensure they don’t take Riddhima lightly. “She’s somebody who will eventually just take it under the nose. You know? She’s that person. She’s a chhupa rustam. So, don’t get taken by her politeness or her fake accent,” he added.

Last but not least, in the end, he told Riddhima he would always root for her. If there had been a voting line, he would be on it constantly to ensure her victory. And with those words, he melted hearts instantly.
