Fardeen Khan is high on hope

Today, life has come full circle for him.The man is high on hope.<br /><br />‘I am eagerly looking forward to my next release <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jaanasheen</span>,’’ says Fardeen, ‘‘In the film, I play the role of a motorbike champion.’’ <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jaanasheen</span> sees Fardeen starring opposite Celina Jaitley. ‘‘As a keen follower of motor-sports, I can relate to the character I play in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jaanasheen</span>. This translates into a better portrayal of the role on-screen.’’<br /><br />Of course, with <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jaanasheen</span> being top of Fardeen’s mind, the obvious question is: how was it like working with his father, Feroz Khan, after <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Prem Aggan</span>? ‘‘Dad and I shared a professional relationship on the sets of <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Janasheen</span>. He is a tough task-master and does not compromise on hard work. In any case, we do not fight for the same girl in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jaanasheen</span>!’’<br /><br />The grin on Fardeen’s face reveals that he is high on the success of <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Bhoot</span>. And also looking forward to Govind Nihalani’s <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Dev</span>. ‘‘If one goes by the kind of films being made today, Dev is different.’’ And how different was the experience of working with Nihalani? ‘‘He is very passionate about his work and is ready to experiment. It was an enriching experience.’’ <br /><br />With things hotting up for Fardeen, is marriage on the cards? ‘‘I have no such plans as yet and I would not like to put a date on this topic. It is a very personal a thing.’’<br /><br />Fardeen Khan is single, but he’s not quite ready to mingle. This heartthrob is in love with his work. Period.</div> </div>
