In 2019, when Taapsee Pannu announced her film with Anubhav Sinha on Twitter, a troll wrote, '@anubhavsinha sir I think u should caste some other actress.Taapsee doesn't knows acting (sic)'. Clapping back at him with her hilarious response, Taapsee said, 'Sorry yaar, ab toh sab kuch sign n seal ho chuka hai. Ab toh sir ko main hi nahi nikaalne dungi. But ek kaam karo, agli wali ke liye rok lo kyunki shayad woh bhi main lock karva lu jald hi. #TryAgain".
When a troll passed an insensitive comment on her
In what was the most insensitive comment about her on social media, a troll wrote that he loves her body parts. Instead of lashing out at him or getting upset, she wrote back, 'Wow! I like them too. Taapsee Pannu, who donned a bikini in David Dhawan's 'Judwaa 2', had shared a couple of pictures of herself from the sets. Dressed in a blue printed bikini, Taapsee is seen striking a stylish pose on a beach. She captioned it, 'When you are against the tide, it's YOU who needs to stand up for yourself......But don't forget the smile ��" #Judwaa2 #AaTohSahi'. A user even called her ‘gandi lag rhi hai’ to which she said, “Gndi??? I knew I should've washed that sand off me. Next time I will take care. I 'aaplog' for that”
When a troll wanted to garner her attention
A Twitter user with a verified handle, wrote in his post: "4.7 Million followers of Taapsee and just 5-8 RTs on her Tweets. The same Taapsee will blame the audience for not watching her movie. Taapsee Pannu, in her epic reply, wrote "Try harder" along with a smile emoji. The Twitter user replied to the actress' tweet and wrote: "Indeed, you need to..." Taapsee managed to reply to this tweet too and she wrote, 'Aadhi toh aapki janta hai mere followers mein jisne relevant bana rakha hai toh shukriya and you earned my attention so congratulations.'
When Taapsee talked about the standard of her films
Taapsee shared a screenshot of a troll on her Instagram Stories who kept attacking her on social media and called her a 'faltu heroine'. He said, 'Tujhe acting to aati nahi utha utha ke movie karti hai". Giving him a savage reply, she wrote, 'Exactly kya utha utha ke? Kyunki uthaya toh hai maine, standard but aapko shayad nahi samajh aaye'. The man kept attacking her and Taapsee replied, “O hooooo. Very persistent you are. 4-5 baar aur likho please toh shayad maan jau".
