Actor-model
Freddy Daruwala was honoured at an awards function held in Pune recently. He won the Best Actor In A Negative Role Award, which was presented to him by Shobha Aarya and choreographer Sandeep Soparkarr. Freddy was the antagonist in
Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ that released earlier this year.
The handsome and versatile actor spoke about his roles in films like ‘Holiday’, ‘Commando 2’ as well as Race 3.
He said, “I never knew that someone can receive so much love and admiration for playing a baddie on screen. I feel honoured to have received this award. I owe it to my fans.” Interestingly, the actor had shared a great rapport with his co-stars in the film. Not just that, Salman used to refer Freddy as a ‘metrosexual man’ because Freddy used to stay under an umbrella right through the shooting to avoid getting tanned under the direct sunlight.
Recently there was also news that Freddy Daruwala could be playing a lead role in the biopic of gangster Karim Lala.
