From Christmas lunch to birthday parties: Here are a few memorable moments of Rishi Kapoor with Neetu, Ranbir and family

Bollywood's dear 'Chintuji' Rishi Kapoor passed away on Thursday at 8:45 am after fighting a long battle with cancer. His brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news. Rishi had been to New York for cancer treatment in September 2018 and had returned to India a year later post-recovery. After his return, he resumed his work and started shooting for 'Sharmaji Namkeen' with Juhi Chawla in Delhi. However, due to health issues he had to come back to Mumbai.

The 67-year-old actor lived the best days of his life in the past few years. From Christmas lunch to New Year Eve's to birthday parties, here are a few throwback pictures of the 'Mulk' actor enjoying quality time with wifey Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir, daughter Riddhima and family.

Back in 2016, Rishi was celebrating his brother Randhir's birthday with the entire Kapoor Khandaan. It had turned out to be a perfect evening with the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu, Karisma, Kareena, Saif Ali Khan, Babita and others.

Rishi Kapoor enjoyed a dinner party with Neetu, Ranbir, Alia and other family friends in New York. All of them looked happy together and painted the picture of a perfect family.

The '102 Not Out' star ringed in the New Year Eve's of 2019 with his family in the New York. Ranbir's ladylove Alia Bhatt was also a part of the celebration. Neetu Kapoor had taken to Instagram to share a perfect family photo and wrote, "Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign!!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health."

While Rishi and Neetu were in New York for the actor's treatment they celebrated father's day with daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and granddaughter Samara. Riddhima had shared the pic and captioned it as "Happy Father’s Day to my real-life hero! Love you so much #mydaddystrongest."

This beautiful picture was clicked on Neetu Kapoor's birthday last year while the actor and his wife were in NYC. They went on a special date to celebrate the actress' 61st birthday with daughter Riddhima, son-in-law Bharat Sahni and granddaughter Samara. Riddhima had shared a pic from the night and captioned it as, "Happiest birthday mommy. Love you."

As per the tradition last year also the Kapoor family hosted the grand Christmas bash. Rishi Kapoor had attended the special lunch with his wifey, Neetu Singh. Apart from them Ranbir Kapoor, his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Karisma and other family members were also present at the get-together.

In November 2019, Rishi had stepped out for a dinner with Neetu, Ranbir, Riddhima and Samara Sahni. As the family walked out of the restaurant they were papped by the shutterbugs.
