It was speculated a lot where the couple met for the very first time. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra crossed paths for the very first time during a wrap up party for Kiara’s film ‘Lust Stories’ in 2018. And if the rumour mill is to be beleived, then sparks flew right from that moment.

The couple was then seen on screen for the very first time in ‘Shershaah.’ Starring as each other’s love interest, the chemistry on screen was already palpable, the love story began off screen as well. Though they kept the relationship under wraps and away from the media’s eyes, fans still became excited to know more about the duo.

Even though the relationship was kept away from the media, certain photos of their secret getaways as a couple ended up getting shared, sparking dating rumours. During an episode of ‘Koffee with Karan,’ where Kiara Advani joined the sets as a guest after her wedding, she shared more intimate details about the couple’s life. The actress shared that Sidharth had proposed to her while they were in Rome. She shared that “You know when Sid came to that episode (last year's episode), we had just come back from Rome where he proposed to me. My parents weren't there. It was our first family holiday with me and his family."

The ‘Satyaprem Ki Kathaa’ actress also shared that the actor was quite cheesy with his way of proposing to Kiara, and that he had repeated lines from their co-starring film ‘Shershaah’. She shared that “I was so overwhelmed. Then he starts saying the lines of ‘Shershaah.’ He's like, Dilli ka seedha saadha launda hun (I am a simple boy from Delhi) with the full dialogues of ‘Shershaah’ and I burst out laughing."

The two finally tied the knot and got married on February 7, 2023, in a ceremony held at the Suryagarh Palace, Rajasthan. The royal wedding took place in the Suryagarh Palace in front of their friends and family members. Celebrity friends like Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karan Johar, and Isha Ambani also attended the wedding to give the couple their blessings.

Ever since they tied the knot, Kiara and Sidharth have not backed down from showcasing their love for one another publicly.
