A wedding is mostly a one-time thing for a person and so when it comes to celebrating this special day, people are known to go all out to make it a grand affair. From booking historic properties as venues for the ceremonies to appointing wedding planners to look into every little detail, couples are known to be so particular about what they want that the whole vibe borders on obsession at times, mostly on the part of the bride, and in a good way. Similarly, our beloved power couples from Bollywood have been no different. From Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh’s very private Lake Como wedding to Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s secluded wedding ceremony in the countryside in Italy, B Town couples too have been quite picky about where they wanted to tie the knot. Let’s have a look at five such couples who had some of the dreamiest weddings in recent times.

The most awaited wedding took place at the beautiful Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot near a breathtaking lake on November 14 and 15, 2019. They wanted a private wedding and therefore decided to choose this location as it was the perfect place for a small ceremony and it also clicked with them. They had a Konkani as well as a Sindhi wedding as they wanted to embrace both of their cultures equally. The celebration was attended by only close family members and close friends. The couple later had two separate wedding receptions for different sets of their friends and relatives.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had the most gorgeous and lavish wedding at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur on December 1, 2019. They had a fairytale-like wedding with beautiful outfits. Each day and each event was extravagant and simply beautiful as they exchanged their vows according to both Hindu and Christian customs and made sure to do it to perfection. From Mehendi to Sangeet and then the Wedding and the Reception, everything was in place and filled with happiness and tons of fun and other emotions. Priyanka and Nick too had two receptions later.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took everyone by surprise when they got hitched in a beautiful and secret wedding in Tuscany in Italy. Fans and the media went into a frenzy when their photos and videos started circulating. From the venue to the outfits, everything was like a dream and perfect. The venue, Borgo Finnocchieto, was decorated in the most elegant way and their Sabyasachi outfits were the definition of brilliance. Their Sangeet, Haldi, Mehendi, Wedding and Reception were all extraordinarily enchanting and alluring.

Arpita Khan and Ayush Sharma, another cute and perfect couple in B Town, tied the knot at the fabulous Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on November 18, 2014. Arpita, the beloved sister of Bollywood’s Bhaijaan, Salman Khan, is also a budding fashion designer, had been in love with her beau Ayush, who is now a budding actor in Hindi films. The lovebirds got married in 2014 in the most beautiful way possible. They looked completely charismatic as they stood together in their lovely wedding outfits.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have never been too vocal about their personal lives. Aditya, son of late Yash Chopra and Rani, denied being together for a long time and later on April 21, 2014 the duo got married with only a few guests including family members and close friends in attendance at the mesmerising countryside in Italy. Later, they had a private dinner party at their residence, making headlines with the sudden celebratory news. The wedding was restricted to a private affair and not many photos surfaced anywhere on the media but we are sure that Rani must have been one of the prettiest brides ever.
