Ten years after the release of 'Fukrey', the makers of the film have now announced the release date of the third instalment of the popular franchise. The film will hit the theatres on September 28.
The makers took to their official X handle and wrote, 'Leke aaye hai taaza khabar, ab nahi ho raha hai sabar. Iss baar hoga ek naya chumatkaar from Jamnapaar! #Fukrey3 arriving in cinemas on 28th September, 2023.' It was earlier reported that the film will release in November this year.

The unit will be playing in theatres with 'Jawan', the film it was clashing with earlier. 'Fukrey 3' will now clash with Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Vaccine War' which stars Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles.
'Fukrey 3' boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring the remarkable talents of Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha. The chemistry and comedic timing of this extraordinary cast and their iconic characters promise to take audiences on a laughter-filled joyride once again.
However, 'Fukrey 3' will not star Ali Fazal as Zafar. The actor had earlier announced that his dates were classing with 'Mirzapur 3'. In a statement, Ali said, “Sorry saathiyon, iss baari nahi (Sorry guys, not this time).” He explained that “Zafar ko kabhi kabhi Guddu bhaiya banna padta hai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi (Sometimes Zafar must play Guddu bhaiya and sometimes, both universes overlap).” Guddu is the name of Ali’s character in Mirzapur.
