Salman Khan, who will next be seen in AR Murugadoss' film ‘Sikandar’, has an enormous global fan base. The superstar recently attended a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in Mumbai. A video showing Salman giving a young fan a hug after he touched Salman's feet has gone viral on Instagram. In a video shared on Instagram, Salman Khan can be seen standing on the stage. A kid approaches Salman, who greets him with wide arms. The star gives the child a sweet hug as soon as the kid reaches him. For the event, Salman chose to wear blue pants and a blue t-shirt.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi today, actor Kartik Aaryan visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai to seek Bappa's blessings. The actor was dressed in a simple attire, and was heavily surrounded by an entourage, as he made his way through the crowd.

I become very emotional; we are bringing home baby-like Ganesh. Golla has turned 3 years old, and today he has come along with me to bring Ganpati Bappa home for the third time"

The actor also announced that they plan to keep Ganpati Bappa at their home for a day and a half, allowing them to cherish the divine presence for an extended period. "This time, we will keep Ganpati Bappa at our home for a day and a half. We will have the opportunity to serve him for 1.5 days," she added.

Marking the day 1 of Ganesh Chaturthi, mom-to-be Deepika Padukone and dad-to-be Ranveer Singh on Friday evening visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple.
The couple was clicked by the shutterbugs as they entered the temple premises. They both were all smiles as they arrived at the temple to see Lord Ganesha's blessings.

Ranveer and Deepika were dressed in traditional outfits. Ranveer opted for an off-white kurta pyjama. On the other hand, Deepika wore a beautiful emerald green saree. She elevated her look with minimal makeup and a sleek bun. They were accompanied by their family members.

Bollywood diva Sharvari, who has recently returned home after the shoot of her upcoming movie 'Alpha' has shared a glimpse of ‘Gauri’ pooja ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Friday, Sharvari, who has 2.2 million followers, shared a monochrome picture in which she gave a glimpse of the Gauri pooja.

The diva, however, has not given any caption to the image. Gauri is considered an incarnation of Ma Parvati, the mother of Lord Ganesha.

President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings and best wishes to citizens of the country and abroad on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi on Friday.

In her message, the President further said that this festival of joy and enthusiasm gives the message of social harmony and brotherhood. "Bhagwan Ganesh is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and prosperity. This festival motivates us to be humble and dutiful and also promotes social cohesion," she added.

She also urged the citizens to pledge to collectively build a peaceful and prosperous India.
