'Gangubai Kathiawadi'

Fans can't wait to see Alia Bhatt in SLB's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. The filmmakers will be eager to wrap films post the lockdown. It is yet to go on the floors and as per Etimes, the film will be the first one to resume shoot post lockdown. Speaking about the film, she will essay the role of one of the most powerful, loved and respected madams of Kamathipura brothel during the 1960s. She became influential in the city, with notorious criminals serving as her clients.

'Brahmastra'

Alia Bhatt and beau Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen for the first time for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'. The diva plays the role of Isha and Ranbir will be seen essaying the role of Shiva. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia. For those who don't know the film is the first part of the sci-fi trilogy and will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

'Takht'

Karan Johar's magnum opus 'Takht' is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. Helmed by Karan Johar, it stars Ranveer, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles. The diva had reportedly started working out religiously for the film.

'RRR'

Very often during media interactions, Alia Bhatt had expressed her excitement to be a part of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' She revealed that the filmmaker is on ''bucket list of directors''. The diva is reportedly learning Telugu for the film. A few days back, there were rumours doing the rounds that the actress exited the film. But later, she quashed all the rumours as she releases the date of the motion poster. A few days back, the director heaped praises on the 'Raazi' actress. He reportedly stated that she had the perfect level of innocence and vulnerability.

Helmed by Mahesh Bhatt 'Sadak 2' is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. It is very special for Alia Bhatt as she is collaborating with her father for the first time. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. Speaking about the film, it is a sequel to the original 1991 film.
