Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, recently shared her thoughts on her brief Bollywood career and mentioned that she got "annoyed" by repeatedly answering the same questions.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tina was asked about her career and being seen as an example of "reverse nepotism." She explained that she moved on quickly from it. She found it frustrating to constantly answer questions about why she was struggling despite having resources at home, as it became repetitive and irritating.
Tina shared that she now enjoys working with her father. She decided to focus on doing what she loves, rather than stressing over external expectations. She realized she had left behind many things, and instead of chasing after them, she chose to be part of projects that truly interest her.
She also mentioned that there were many misconceptions about her in the industry. People assumed she wouldn’t be open to look tests because she is Govinda’s daughter. However, she clarified that she was always willing to do them, but couldn’t keep answering the same questions from different casting directors, so she decided to move on.
Tina further shared that working with her dad gave them a chance to bond and allowed her to let go of the unnecessary pressure she had been feeling. She embraced the luxury that came with her new approach, saying that working with her father offered better perks, like first-class tickets, compared to being a lead in films and traveling in economy class.
