In a new development, Govinda’s manager breaks his silence on reports of an alleged attack involving the actor, firmly rejecting claims suggesting any criminal or legal issue. As rumours continued to circulate online, he clarified that the incident had been misinterpreted and urged people to avoid spreading false information.

As per a report by ANI, he shared that the incident took place late at night, around 3 to 3:30 a.m., when a group of unidentified people allegedly gathered near Govinda’s house. He said the situation was tense and could have become serious if the actor hadn’t reacted swiftly to protect himself. A day after Govinda was admitted to the hospital following an accidental self-inflicted gunshot, the Juhu Police questioned him as part of routine procedure. Police sources mentioned that there is currently no evidence suggesting foul play, though additional questioning may take place. The Mumbai Crime Branch has also launched a parallel investigation. According to PTI, a team led by senior police inspector Daya Nayak visited Govinda at the hospital to piece together the incident. The actor explained that his revolver accidentally slipped from his hand and went off, injuring his leg.
