Gurfateh Singh Pirzada, who grabbed the eyeballs of movie buffs with his appearance in the film ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’, is back in the buzz with ‘Call Me Bae’ starring Ananya Panday. The young actor who plays the role of Neel in the series, has opened up about ‘Bedhadak’, which was supposed to be his debut film, being shelved.

Gurfateh had roped in to play the lead role in ‘Bedhadak’ co-starring Shanaya Kapoor and Lakshya, however, the film got shelved for unknown reasons.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Gurfateh weighed on his debut film Bedhadak being shelved. Responding to the roadblocks he faced in his career, Gurfateh Singh Pirzada shared that he understands that such challenges could happen at any point in one’s career. He added that experiencing difficulties earlier in his career has been a blessing in disguise.

According to the young actor, these early challenges have provided him with a deeper understanding of the industry's ups and downs, helping him manage his mental health more effectively. He also acknowledged that such roadblocks are a common part of the industry, and emphasized that despite the result, he would continue putting in the hard work, as it is what he loves. The young actor alsos added that he believes that everything happens for a reason.

Meanwhile, ‘Call Me Bae’, which also marks the web series debut of Ananya Panday has started streaming and it is receiving decent response from the audiences.
