Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoor bags ‘A’ censor certificate; Vir Das is ecstatic, jokes about 'only A I’ve EVER received'
Vir Das has shared a fun update about his upcoming film Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC. Vir shared the news in his own funny way. He posted online and wrote, “Not a good student, only A I’ve EVER received #happypatel Jan 16! Advance bookings open TOMORROW!” Fans laughed at the line and shared the post widely. Along with the certificate news, Vir also confirmed that advance bookings will open tomorrow.

On the last day, a new promo from the film was shared on social media. The clip quickly caught attention. In the video, Aamir Khan is seen being thrown out of a building by security guards. Inside the room, Sunil Grover sits and mimics Aamir Khan once again. Sunil is dressed exactly like Aamir and looks very convincing and he meets Vir Das and confidently says the film will be a huge hit and even win Oscars. Vir looks confused and does not believe him at first. The comedy grows when Sunil’s fake Aamir flatters Vir, gives him a big bonus check, and promises a sequel.

'Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos' will be released in theatres on January 16. The film also marks Imran Khan’s return to the big screen after Katti Batti in 2015. He appears in a cameo role. The cast also includes Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi, Mithila Palkar, and Srishti Tawde. With the ‘A’ certificate, viral promos, and bookings opening soon, the film is set for a strong start.
