Bollywood woke up to the bitter news of Satish Kaushik’s demise. The celebrated actor-director was loved by fans and respected by the fraternity. With dreams to become an actor, Satish Kaushik arrived in Mumbai in 1979.
A few years ago, the celebrated actor had given a glimpse of his first morning in Mumbai, when he arrived in the city of dreams after taking a train ride. Sharing a black and white memory, Satish Kaushik had penned, “I came to mumbai to become an actor on 9th Aug 1979 by Paschim Express. . 10th Aug was first morning in Mumbai. Mumbai gave Work, Friends, Wife, Kids, Home, Love, Warmth, Struggle, Success, Failures & Courage to live Happily. The same picture was shared by Celina Jaitly today and she had penned, “Kuch arsey pehle @satishkaushik2178 ji had posted a photo of his first morning in Mumbai. He was proof of the fact that talent,hard work, dedication and resilience cannot go unnoticed. I cannot imagine “MR INDIA” without “CALENDAR” or mainstream Hindi cinema without his directorial blockbuster TERE NAAM. While he leaves an incredible legacy of almost half a decade, the vacancy would probably take two hundred years to fulfil.”
