‘Hera Pheri 3’ remains one of the most-awaited films among audiences. The project was initially expected to go on floors next year, with reports claiming that
Akshay Kumar,
Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty had even filmed an announcement video. However, the film is yet to begin production, and lyricist Sameer Anjaan recently shared in an interview that he is uncertain whether the movie will eventually be made.
Sameer Anjaan on uncertainty around the film
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama about ‘Hera Pheri 3’, Sameer admitted that he is uncertain about the film’s fate, He shared, “Don’t know if it will be made. We don’t know what will happen. There is no clear-cut picture. Also, there is no guarantee if I will write for it. I wrote for the first version of Bhool Bhulaiyaa but not for the second version. Then I had to write for the third version. This goes on. It is not up to me if I will get a certain movie. If I am offered, then I will think what to write.”
Akshay Kumar confirms delay
During a recent chat with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay confirmed that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is not progressing at the moment. He said, “Maybe something will work out… maybe we need to say a few prayers. But as of now, it’s not happening.” He also indicated that the film won’t begin production anytime soon, at least not over the next year. Opening up about the hurdles delaying the project, Akshay added, “There are some things I can’t talk about on camera—agreements and other issues that keep pushing the project back.”
