After a lot of speculations, the Kapoor family made an official statement confirming
Sonam Kapoor and
Anand Ahuja
's wedding date. According to the official statement released by both the families, the wedding is all set to take place on May 8, 2018, in Mumbai.
The statement also read the wedding to be an intimate family affair and even requested the media to give them the much-needed privacy.
According to reports, the mehendi-sangeet ceremony is all set to take place on May 7, with the dress code of Indian festive wear with shades of white. Post the sangeet, the couple will take their vows on May 8 in the day and reports state that the rituals would start around 11, with traditional wear being the dress code. The nuptials will take place at a heritage bungalow, followed by a grand reception in the evening which is reportedly said to start around 8 pm at a suburban five-star hotel with Indian or Western formals being the dress code for the grand night.
