Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt embraced parenthood on November 6 after they welcomed a baby girl. Needless to say, their family, friends and fans are super thrilled at the arrival of their first child.
Ranbir reportedly got very emotional as he held his bundle of joy for the first time. Ranbir, who was otherwise calm and composed, was seen shedding tears of happiness. Looking at his tears, everyone else, including his lovely wife Alia Bhatt too started crying, a report in BollywoodLife stated.
Announcing the happy news of the arrival of their princess, Alia shared a picture of a lion and lioness with a little cub, cuddling together. The text read, "And in the best news of our lives : Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!" The note was signed with ‘love love love’ by both Alia and Ranbir.
After dating for a long time, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor finally tied the knot in April this year in an intimate wedding ceremony at their house with just their family and close friends in attendance.
Earlier in June, Alia caught everyone by surprise when she announced her pregnancy. Alia had shared her pregnancy announcement via an Instagram post featuring an ultrasound that was half-concealed with a heart emoji, and the back of husband Ranbir.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt has 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and 'Jee Le Zaraa' in the pipeline. She will also mark her Hollywood debut with Gal Gadot starrer 'Heart of Stone'. While Ranbir Kapoor has 'Animal' and Luv Ranjan's next in the pipeline.
